چکیده

The SLU Swedish Species Information Centre (SSIC, Artdatabanken) accumulates, analyses and disseminates information concerning species habitats occurring in Sweden. work is frequently carried out cooperation with various experts non-governmental organisations. SSIC produces the Red List of threatened works on commission by Government other authorities within field biodiversity, e.g. risk assessment invasive alien (IAS) Habitats Directive. Since 2002, when Taxonomy Initiative (STI) was established, commissioned Parliament to identify describe all multicellular plants, fungi animals Sweden make available scientists, conservationists public. provides an open access biodiversity reporting analysis infrastructure including for example Observation System, taxonomic backbone Dyntaxa tools traits, terminology identification (artfakta.se). All systems, LifeWatch (SLW) Analysis Portal, rely recognized standards ensure interoperability consist databases, APIs web applications. In addition, leading partner former SLW consortium now cooperates Biodiversity Data Infrastructure Living Atlases Community. first we show what data from Hygrophorus , one genera where taxon concepts are mapped Fennoscandia, applications hence kind could be shared, based ongoing collaboration Nordic Initiatives. consists a key, descriptions (characters, distribution, ecology), names & classification, nature conservation lists (for red listed threats, measures assessments). Furtheremore, there different classfications filter functions ( landscape type, habitat, substrate, ecological group, mycorrhiza/symbiosis), image gallery observation maps generated sightings. Most come Artportalen, which total contains more than 93,000,000 georeferenced observations, along 3,000,000 images, videos or sounds some 37,000 records harvested national System (SOS) (serving, amongst others, data) Global Facility (GBIF). also offers tool image-based identification, collaborating PlantNet Artsoraklet/Naturalis. second demonstrates network (IAS), another international interest it comes sharing vizualiazing data. Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket) Marine Water Management (Havs- och vattenmyndigheten) system focusing firstly IAS Regulation 1143/2014 (EU) has been developed (invasivaarter.nu). Here, anyone can report these species, geographic position, date photo. This will directed verifying both place, if necessary dialogue individual. Once verified occurrence published, responsible (often County Administrative Boards, CABs) carry checks and, necessary, instigate appropriate eradication measures. A digital catalogue such methods under development between coordinators regional CABs being established. have separate documentation since beginning this year complete chain working, taken. If/when (by fed back CAB-tool into database possible search visualize information.

Species distribution modelling of invasive alien species; Pterois miles for current distribution and future suitable habitats

The present study aims to predict the potential geographic distribution and future expansion of invasive alien lionfish (Pterois miles) with ecological niche modelling along the Mediterranean Sea. The primary data consisted of occurrence points of P. miles in the Mediterranean and marine climatic data layers were collected from global databases. All the used models run 100% su...

Costs of alien invasive species in Sweden.

The purpose of this paper is to present calculations of total costs of 13 alien invasive species (AIS) in Sweden. All species are subject to control by Swedish public authorities, and estimates for most AIS include either damage cost or actual control cost. The results indicate a total annual cost between approximately 1620 and 5080 million SEK, which correspond to SEK 175 and SEK 565 per capit...

Ecological niche modeling of invasive alien plant species in a protected landscape

Non-native plants that can cause adverse effects are otherwise known as invasive alien plant species which pose a major threat to plant biodiversity conservation and sustainability. This study is dedicated to determine the plant diversity and to assess the vulnerability of Quezon Protected Landscape, Southern Luzon, the Philippines to invasive alien plant species. Data from 90 10x10 m randomly ...
